INCREASING THE STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN READING COMPREHENSION BY USING IMITATION RESPONSE FEEDBACK METHOD AT THE EIGHTH CLASS OF SMP NEGERI 1 HILISERANGKAI IN 2012/2013

Abstract. Keterampilan membaca adalah suatu kemampuan seseorang dalam memperoleh pesan dari apa yang dibacanya dan pesan itu menjadi pengetahuan baru padanya untuk diterapkan pada pengalaman barunya. Untuk mencapai kompetensi tersebut, pembaca perlu menerapkan metode untuk menolongnya. pada penelitian ini penulis menerapkan Imitation Response Feedback Method (IRFM). Metode ini menekankan pada stimulus dan simulasi dari guru dengan meniru. Penerapan metode ini cukup bagus dalam membangun pemahaman siswa dalam memahami teks bacaan.
